Description

A really interesting and in depth meditation on the meaning and purpose of design in human life generally.

Written by Per Mollerup this is a mint condition book in black and white, set in a really tasty Swiss typeface with a quintessentially Swiss grid layout.

He unpacks the design intent and purpose of everything from Lego, the geometry of Tennis, high-tech airplane instruments and Neolithic tools.

Lots of range here and design aphorisms galore like "Taste is Knowledge" and "The Solution Comes First"

Technical Specifications

  • 8.5 inches wide, 8 inches high, .75 inches thick (closed)

  • High quality hard cover book with protective plastic cover (removable)

  • 120 pages

Please note: this is a pre-owned product curated for sale from the Postmodern Tectonics archive — it shows signs of use and love, with minor imperfections here and there, but we don't sell anything that's not up to our exacting standards.
